Right Choices / Better Outcomes
Introduction: January 1, 2013
We are faced with a multitude of choices every day. Some are life-altering, but many are not. The problem is, we don’t always know when a choice will alter our future, or how it will affect us in the days to come. I believe there are guidelines available to us that will help us make better choices.
Scripture gives us examples from the lives of dozens of people through whom we are able to learn how to make the right choice to obtain better outcomes. Some of the examples we will look at will teach us how not to do things. Some scripture we will look at will be extremely difficult to accept, but each example and principle, if followed, will eventually bring us to desired results. These may not be the outcomes we had anticipated, but they will be for our best.
I have just finished mapping out the direction for my postings in 2013. I have listed the general themes along with the corresponding scripture and Biblical personalities we will study. However, I know that as we go from lesson to lesson God will teach me new principles and will remind me of previous lessons He has taught me. Don’t be surprised if I’m led off topic from time to time. God often leads in new, unplanned, exciting directions.
I hope you will be blessed and encouraged by what God has to say through the scripture we will look at over the next months.
