Ministry to women is a very important part of my life. My heart’s desire is to help women grow in discernment, learning to determine “what really matters”, while living to the glory of God.
I grew up in a loving Christian home in Detroit Michigan, one of three children. From an early age I attended women’s ministry meetings with my mother through which the Lord began to grow my passion for working with women. In my adult life, through my involvement opportunities at all levels of women’s ministries He has been pleased to continually refine and develop my spiritual gifts of teaching, counselling, discernment, compassion and administration. I have served in my local church, and also within our denomination’s district and national levels.
I have been blessed with a wonderful family; Weyburn, my husband whom I met while we both attended Emmanuel Bible College (Kitchener, ON Canada), and 5 now-married children, all of whom are married and serving the Lord with their own families. Our fourteen precious grandchildren make all of our family gatherings lively, joyful and fun-filled.
In 2011 I followed the Lord’s prompting and launched Discerning Hearts Ministry, designed to speak into the lives of women and to encourage them to use their gifts as God directs. I look forward to hearing from those who stop by the website.
